Who is Kindred Spirit Ranch
Kindred Spirit Ranch was started 2019 after deciding deciding that I was ready to make dogs not only my passion but my next "baby". After having 6 kids and getting to a place where I was ready to create something else, I choose to start Kindred Spirit Ranch. I originally choose to breed Goldendoodles because I love raising and training puppies and knew that I could give them the best start. I got a dog from my mother's breeding program in NC. Pearl produce two amazing litters but I decided that my true heart wasn't in the breeding but the actual rearing and training of the puppies. That is when I decided to switch Kindred Spirit Ranch into dog training only.
I started dog training in 2001 when I met a dog trainer who was holding classes at a vet's office I was working with asked if anyone would be interested in learning more about training. I was up for the task. I learned so much as I had special needs dogs at the time. I trained under this trainer for several years. During this time span I worked with several rescues as well as a doggie daycare, and then at a raw dog food company. I learned so much from my exposure to many different breeds.
After my husband was commissioned in the Army and we moved from the area, I continued to work with friend and family pets. My passion for animals has never diminished and being able to bring both animals and humans to a level of understanding has always been important to me.
It is always an honor to help owners create amazing service dogs as well as some wonderful pets. I love seeing all dogs and owners thrive.
My goal for your family is to have a dog that is able to thrive and live happily as a family member whether as a service dog or family pet.
